Vibrant

My webcomic, "Vibrant" examines the consequences of capitalism being pushed to the absolute extreme into future generations and the effects that has on artists trying to connect with others and transcend barriers in a society where, even beyond the stars, the gap between "have" and "have-not" still is tangible and real, even to the science-fictional characters the reader sees on the screen. I collaborated with an artist online, with the pseudonym of Purplemageddom, who did the lineart and gave the story the edge and character I felt enhanced the story. I did the coloring, writing, and shading, as well as the text, this collaboration birthing an end result I was quite proud of. It was inspired by Bladerunner 2049, as well as "Diamond Jack", an animated short by Rachel Kim in May 2017.
