I illustrated this original Webtoon during my final years of high school and soon will be illustrating it to be published on Amazon and Barnes & Noble
I have always believed in representation for everyone who takes part in consuming different types of art and stories. "Ghost House" is inspired by several halloween-themed stories I watched and read growing up, such as "Danny Phantom", "Monster House", "Coraline" and "Over The Garden Wall". However, adventure - themed stories like "Phineas and Ferb" and the child-like innocence and adventure they embodied were key to the inspiration of this story, which I first published to Webtoon in 2019. After the two stumble across a fun-loving ghost, the story depicts how their daily lives are filled with paranormal and supernatural adventures, places and beings beyond their wildest imaginations. After coming up with the characters of Hank and Coby, I found their comedic interactions encouraged engagement from readers online, who would interact with content related to the story in seemingly positive ways, prompting me to create more chapters. However, after high school, I decided I want to flesh out the story more and develop the world more before continuing to publish Ghost House content.
