Time's Up short comic

A short zine created during my first year at OCAD University which examines humanity's negative impacts on the environment, with science-fiction and action elements being integrated. The project includes a few subversions I included for the purposes of making this project unique, having two black characters, one of which being a vampire, subverting tropes of vampires appearing as old, which , white men and rather a young and athletic black woman with red skin due to her blood cells being pumped at supernatural speeds in order to sustain her super speed. I also had both characters be leads in the story, rather than disposable side characters who don't contribute to the story, a trope I hope to subvert in my future storytelling endeavours as a young African creative
